From Find a Grave contributor BjJ:

Mr. Wm. H. Wickersham, for many years a well known and popular journeyman printer, died yesterday, at his residence, East Adams street, after an illness scarely a week in duration, of paralysis of the stomach. "Hawk" first entered The Journal office about 1851, and since that time has almost continuously labored at the "case", except during the late war, when he served with credit in
the army. The deceased was forty years of age, and leaves a wife and five children. He was the son of Milton H. Wickersham, now of Chicago, and leaves other relatives. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the family
residence,811 Adams street, between Eighth and Ninth.

IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 5-19-1877

From Find a Grave contributor BjJ:

NOTE: He has no stone. The grassy area you see
in the photo is the Wickersham plot but no stones were found for any of that family buried there.
