Veikko Konstantin Lehtonen was born on the 15th of May 1913 in Kajaani, Finland. His parents were Konstantin Karlsson (1873-1948) and mistress Fanny Elina Lindberg Lehtonen (1878-1945). Konstantin was still married to Ida Sofia Kujala when Veikko was born. He used his mother's last name.

He married, Olga Hukanen born July 29th, (1906-?) on the 22nd of October 1932 and they moved to Kajaani in 1936. This marriage ended in divorce; Olga was very mean. Veikko's second wife was Maria Orvokk Lindberg (1919-1997). They had the following children: Ensio Aarno Olavi Lehtonen Born 21st of December, 1946, and died 21st of March, 2004, Veli Matti Kalervo Lehtonen born on the 2nd of July, 1948 died on the 27th of August, 2007, Arja Lea Sylvia Lehtonen Ramo born on the 24th of September, 1950-, Leo Martti Aukusti Lehtonen born on the 10th of November, 1955-, Kosti Pauli Johannes born the 24th of January, 1958 died in 2009. Veikko was a World War II vet. He was a kind, hardworking, and very tough guy, and was a truck driver and a driver in World War II. He died of Lung Cancer on the 12th of December 1983. Buried at the Jarvenpaa Cemetery, with his wife. He was 70 years old. Veikko is my Great-Granduncle.
