She was a 1930 graduate of Elyria High School. She was employed at Bendix Corporation, M.B. Johnson School of Nursing and the city of Elyria traffic bureau from where she retired in 1977 She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Elyria, where she had been an office volunteer for many years and known for her sense of humor.
