FUNERAL SERVICES
Of Mrs. Henry Brashears Will Be Held Tomorrow Morning.
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Brashears, whose death took place early Saturday morning at the family home on north Vine street, will be held at the residence at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning and the burial will be in Springdale cemetery. The decedent, whose maiden name was Emily Craig, came of a prominent Kentucky family, her father being Clement Craig, of Scott county, Ky., where the daughter was born August 14, 1835. She was married to Capt. Henry Brashears, the well known retired river pilot, on Sept. 18, 1860, at Frankfort, Ky. Five children born to their union survive: Mrs. Loran Dow, of Pittsburg, formerly Miss Emily Brashears, and Mrs. Will Barber, city, formerly Miss Ella Brashears, and Messrs. Charles, Henry and George, living in St. Louis. Most of Mrs. Brashears life was spent in Madison where she was universally respected for the noble life she led as a christian wife and mother and a true friend to all about her. She was a member of the Baptist church a devout student and follower of the teachings of the bible.
