Celestin Adams III
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles community for Celestin "C.F." Felix Adams III, 75, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Gibson, who died at 3:40 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 1996.Burial was in the church Cemetery.
He was the father of Richard G. Adams, C.F. Adams IV of San Antonio, Texas, and Judith E. Adams of Gibson; brother of Patricia Gaudet of Baton Rouge, Robert J. Adams and Wilhelm Adams of Lafayette and Jules G. Adams of Houston.
He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Bouvier Adams; and parents, C.F. Jr. and Eugenia Gayral Adams.He
was a retired railroad conductor for Amtrak.Donations to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Veterans Blvd., Suite 214, Kenner, LA 70062 are preferred.
Chauvin Funeral Home Inc. of Houma was in charge of arrangements.
