OSSEO — Helen Louise Isom, 91, of Osseo died Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Helen was born March 10, 1913, in Unity Township, Trempealeau County, Wis., to Tobias and Marie (Romundstad) Olson. After graduating from high school, she received her teaching certificate from Eau Claire Normal School. On June 13, 1936, she married Harold Isom in Strum. Together they farmed in Sumner Township, Trempealeau County.
Harold preceded her in death on February 6, 1977.
Helen lived a life of loving service, giving her time and talents to her church and community.
Helen is survived by one daughter, Eileen and her husband Bruce Nordhagen of Sun Prairie; two sons, Bruce and wife Pat Isom of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Harlan and wife Marna Isom of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Ruth Westlund of San Diego, Calif., and Harriet Raasch of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Leif Nordhagen, Tony and Christopher Isom, Mary Lund, Linda Jones, Jeffrey Isom and Todd Nelson; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2004, at United Church of Christ-Congregational in Osseo, with Rev, Steve Davis officiating. Burial will be in Osseo Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
