Mrs. Lucille Elliott Hayden, 95, formerly of 1513 Halifax Road, Danville, VA went to be with her Lord at Roman Eagle Memorial Home. Born in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Howard Elliott and Serellza Wells Elliott

She was married to Jim Davis Hayden who predeceased her. She was a member of Samuel Harris Memorial Baptist Church and she was known for her excellent cooking, her gardening and for being a good neighbor.

She is survived by two sisters, Cordie Shelton of Danville and Irma Motley of Florida, and one brother, Van Elliott, of Danville. Other survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Jimmy McMann Hayden.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hayden were held at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Jerry Smith officiating.

Barker Funeral Home in Danville served the family.
