Mrs. Lillie Mae Vaughn, age 93, of Dukedom, TN died Tuesday, October 16 at her home.
She was a member of the Pilot Oak Baptist Church and had been a machine operator for the former Henry I. Siegel Clothing Company for 33 years. She had lived in this area all of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold Thomas "Shorty" Vaughn of Dukedom, TN; two sons Jerry Walston of Pilot Oak, KY and Michael Vaughn of Halls, TN; four daughters Brenda Kay McCoy, Vicky Lynn Conner and Lori Jean Edmison, all of South Fulton, TN and Diana Fay Brown of Dukedom, TN; Sixteen grandchildren, five step grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cleve and Jennie (Rose) Cruse, a brother Carlise Cruse and a sister Mary Frances Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, October 18 at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church in Pilot Oak, KY and burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the Jackson Funeral Home from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, October 17. Mrs. Vaughn will lie in state at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church from 11 am Thursday until the funeral hour.
