William Eugene Salisbury was born August 15, 1880, in McCook County, where he had lived all of his life, he was unmarried. He is survived by his father, Albert H. Salisbury, who lives in Wisconsin and three sisters and one brother. William Eugene Salisbury, 52 year old farmer, died at 4 oclock this morning in the Moe hospital in Sioux Falls after a serious corn shredder accident on his farm a 2 oclock Monday afternoon. Mr. Salisbury's left arm was completely mangled as it became entangled in a shredder and he was rushed to Sioux Falls, where the crushed arm was amputated. Death was thought to have been caused by extensive loss of blood, since it was necessary to take the machine apart to extricate the arm, which took 20 minutes. Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Hallenback funeral home here. Burial records are at Elsworth Funeral Home.
