Calvin Lyman Rogers, died at his Toddsville home Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Two weeks ago he had suffered heart attacks, but a short time before his death .was engaged in mowing the lawn.
He was born June 1, 1877, son of Walter and Harriet (Smith) Rogers in Middlefield, and had resided in Toddsville or the past nineteen years. His wife, Emily Billings of Nicholson, Pa, survives; one daughter, Romaine Rogers, and two sons, Carlton arid Gerald Rogers, all of Toddsville. Mr. Rogers had been a resident of Otsego county for fifty years. A sister, Mrs. Charles Jarvii Fork Shop, also survives. The funeral was held Thursday at 2 p. m., burial in Fly Creek cemetery.
