William Albert H. Johnson was born in Sumter Twp.. Herbert was middle name on marriage appl.. He was a farmer in Sumter Twp.. On the farm he shut off all electricity & farmed with mules the old fashion way, too get thru the depression. He was a founding member of the Biscay, Minn. Co-Op Creamery. After a hard days work farming at super, he got half the fresh baked pie. The other half was divided between the other four in family. He retired to Hutchinson, Minn.. He played penuckle in the back room in down town Hutchinson. He worked part time at Dobratz funeral home. He liked to go fishing in his small boat. He had a wood barrel on back corner of the house under the down spout, & water went thru a heavy screen over barrel. In the barrel were minnows for fishing. Martin Wm. Johnson & Dtr. Tara Ann Johnson descendants in Belvidere, Illinois.
