Grandpa came to the United States 1880. His mother Jane Ann Bell couldn't come over while she was pregnant with him. So her and the children came over after he was born. Richard ll was here in the United States living with his brother Hiram in Illinois. They had two sons in Illinois. Then they moved to Pittsburg, Crawford, Kansas, USA. The rest of the children were born there. All boys & one girl. Parents Richard Hartshorn 1l March 1847 Broseley, Shropshire, England-25 December 1898 Pittsburg, Crawford, Kansas. Jane Ann Bell 6 August 1852 Broseley, Shropshire, England-abt. 1853 Pittsburg, Crawford, Kansas, USA. Both are on find a grave.com. Buried in Olive Cemetery in Crawford Co., Kansas.They died of typhoid fever. Richard Hartshorn lll married Mary Elizabeth Duxbury in Girard, Pittsburg, Kansas, USA in 1901.
