Eleanor Hollinsett Blaw

This should show that the 2nd wife of Michael Blaw, Eleanor [Nellie] Hollinsett was very much alive when her husband died. She died sometime after 1786 and was listed in her husbands will below.

1782, Sept. 5. Blew, Michael, of Somerset Co.;
Wife, Elinor, the house and land now in possession of my grandson, Frederick Blew; also 18 acres adjoining, formerly belonging to Nicholas Lake, which I bought of my son, William; also 35 acres adjoining, and along line of David Covenhoven; also 6 acres of woodland, formerly belonging to Thomas Leonard, deceased; also the goods she brought at our marriage; all during her life. Son, William, 100 pounds. Son, Michael, 100 pounds.
Son, Daniel, 100 pounds. Sons, Michael and Daniel, the house and land I gave to my wife. Grandson, Frederick Blew, 25 pounds. Grand-daughter, Elinor Vanheise, 100 pounds. Two grandsons, sons of my son, John, deceased, that is, to Cornelius and Lambert, each a silver spoon. To the 4 children of my deceased daughter, Mary Golder, 100 pounds. Grandson, Michael Blew, son of my deceased son, John, 5 shillings. Sons, William, Michael and Daniel, and 4 children of my deceased daughter, Mary, and deceased son John's children, money from sale of lands. The share of my granddaughter, Elinor Stout, daughter of my deceased son, John, is to remain in the hands of my Executors, and paid to her as she needs it. Michael and Daniel to be paid when they are 21. Executors-wife, Elinor, and my friends, John Vanheise and Gideon Decamp. witnesses-Isaac Blue, James Voorhees, William Worth.
