Beloved son of Issac Laws and Philena Flitcroft Laws. Sears Laws father Issac Laws was born @ 1830 in New York, and served during the Civil War,in the 3rd Michigan Calvary Company A. He died July 15 1864 in Duvalls Bluff Arkansas due to sickness that he contracted while serving. Sears Laws mother was Philena Flitcroft Laws, she was born @ 1834 in New York the daughter of Seth Flitcroft and Sarita Blackmer Flitcroft.
