LT. HARRY C. SHANNON
Funeral services for Lt. Harry C. Shannon of 2853 Midland St., Brookline, will be held at 2 p.m., tomorrow, in the Beinhauer Mortuary, 2630 West Liberty Ave.
Burial will be in the Union Dale Cemetery, with military services by Brookline Post 540, American Legion.
Lt. Shannon was killed July 11, 1943, in the South Pacific.
A member of the Brookline United Presbyterian Church, he was a graduate of South Hills High School and Duffs-Iron City Business College.
Before joining the Army, March, 1942, he had been employed by an insurance firm.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Shannon; two brothers, Ralph E. and Robert Shannon; and a sister, Mrs. Maria C. Post of Detroit.
A brother, Marine Pvt. Jack E. Shannon, was killed on Okinawa.
Friends are being received at the funeral home.
