Survived by mother Joanna Ursi. Father Ronald "Diz" Corona, Sr. (1946-2011).
He was a 1991 graduate of Berwick High School, Berwick, Pennsylvania. Studied at Bloomsburg University; graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a degree in Pharmacology in 1997. Moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was employed there as a Pharmacist.
Prior to his death, he had most recently worked as a counselor at the Scientology program called Narconon in Georgia. He resided in Norcross, Georgia. Per County Medical Examiner, Gwinnett County, Georgia - death was from cocaine use.
Per obituary, "Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, the late Ronald Joseph Corona, Sr., and his paternal grandparents, the late Clement and Carmella Corona; all formerly of Berwick.
In addition to his mother, Joanna Ursi, Ronnie is survived by his sister, April C. O'Connor and her husband, Jay, of Archbald, Pa.; his brother, Thomas Corona and his wife, Shannon, of Berwick; his maternal grandparents, Tony and Marie "Mitzi" Ursi, Berwick; and his five nieces and nephews, Kateri, Kaitlyn, Leslie, Leahy and Rockne O'Connor of Archbald, Pa."
Visitation was held September 1, 2012 followed by memorial service at Mayo Funeral Home Inc., Berwick, Pennsylvania. Officiant was Reverend Dennis G. Dalessandro, of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Berwick, Pennsylvania.
