Mrs. Hiram Ives,an old resident of Volney, died Sept. 13.
Deceased was born in Volney Nov.15,1816 and has lived at Volney Center fifty-six years. She is survived by three children, Henry who lived with her, Friend of Fulton and Hannah in Connecticut, also by three brothers, John, Gerry and Ira. She united with the Congregational Church Jan. 4, 1863. The funeral occured at Mt Pleasant at 2 pm Friday, Rev. C. Atwood officiating.
