Sister Concilio Otto, age 95, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of
Christian Charity, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at Holy Family Convent,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at
Holy Family Convent Chapel. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial
will be the Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O. Praem with burial to follow at Holy
Family Convent Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Margaret Otto was born Sept. 5, 1906, in Sherwood, Wis.,
daughter of the late Edward and Rosalie Joppe Otto. She entered the
Convent in 1921 and professed her vows in 1925. Sister Concilio served
as a teacher of primary grades at Sacred Heart, Oshkosh; St. Mary,
Brillion; Sacred Heart and St. Boniface, Manitowoc; St. Anthony, Neopit;
St. Mary, Kaukauna; St. John, Antigo; St. Mary, Rhinelander; St. Wendel,
Cleveland; St. Joseph, Kellnersvile; St. Pius X, Appleton; St. Michael,
Whitelaw; St. Mary, Algoma; St. Joseph, Rice Lake, Wis.; St. Peter,
Bapchule; St. John, Komatke; Immaculate Conception, Yuma, Ariz.; St.
Mary, Del., St. Benedict, Cambridge and St. Nicholas, Zanesville, Ohio.
After retiring from the teaching profession, she served as a homemaker
at St. Pius X, Appleton and performed various services at San Damiano
Convent, Slinger and Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. Since 1997, she has
been residing in St. Rita Health Center at the Motherhouse. She is a
member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.

Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity along with
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Family Convent,
Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be held a
7 p.m. at Holy Family Convent Chapel.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with
funeral arrangements.
