Mrs. Johnnie Lee Bryan Ryan, age 70, of Chireno, passed from this life on Monday, October 15, 2012, in Houston.

A native of San Augustine County, she was born on February 2, 1942, to Rosie Lee (Evans) Bryan and John Bryan. She worked as a waitress, was a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend, and was a member of the Baptist Church.


Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with H.J. Medley officiating. Interment will be in the Broaddus Cemetery in Broaddus. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2012, and Friday, October 19, 2012, from the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.


Those who are left to cherish her memory include: Daughter, Rose Stubblefield, and her husband, Jackie of Chireno; Grandson, David (Bubba) Cooper of San Augustine; Granddaughter, Amanda Devenport of Huntington; 5 great-grandchildren, Gregory, Holly, Allen, Allana, and Skylar; Sister: Bonnie Tarver of San Augustine; Sister-in-law: Joyce Bryan of San Augustine along with numerous nieces and nephews.


Preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosie Byran; Brothers: Arbie, Lester, L.J., Hollis, and E-sel Bryan; Sister, Marilyn Bryan, Lois Harvey, and great-granddaughter, Hailey Cooper.
