Found in The State 02 November 1904: The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund P. Davis will be grieved to learn of the death of their only child, Jennie Bird, which occurred at 10 o'clock last night. This bright and lovable girl, who was in her ninth year, was taken sick two weeks ago, and although there was some anxiety from the first, her condition was not considered alarming until within the past few days. The funeral noticed will be announced later.
