Mary Grace Galey Smither, 80, Indianapolis, died Jan. 24, 2003. She was an LPN at the V.A. Hospital, retiring in 1975. Mrs. Smither was a singer and a player of lap steel guitar for Whiteys Band, which played for various nursing homes and senior citizen homes. She enjoyed baseball, loved her country and her main interest was her family. Mrs. Smither was a member of Church of the Master, 2000 N. Girls School Road, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her mother Sarah Ellen Galey; father Floyd Galey; mother-in-law Lenora Smither; sisters Daisy Bland and Thelma Pickering. Survivors inclde her husband William Smither; sons Bill, Mike, Danny, Doug Smither; daughter Nancy Kinnett; daughters-in-law Penny, Jeanne, Janet, Sharon; son-in-law Randy Kinnett; sisters Florence Keller, Barbara Snell; 5 half-sisters; grandchildren Debbie, Missy, Willie, Randy, Jason, Chad, Sarah, Ben, Michael, Andrea, Jan; stepgrandchildren Whitney, Kelsey, McKenzie, Jackson, Carolyn; and expecting Patricia Grace and Emily
