Georgia Patricia Lockhart "Pat" Burris, born March 23, 1932 in Walker, LA, was the fourteenth of fifteen children born to Jackson Fee and Georgia Arnold Lockhart. Pat went to her eternal home on Friday October 12, 2012. She was a resident of Harvest Manor Nursing Home.

Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, until service. Interment in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William "Bill" Burris, parents, 6 brothers and 6 sisters.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Celeste and Ron Loper, Edward and Fay Burris, Cheryl and David Graham and Julia and Larry Rucker, 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 13 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Myrina Marshall and Agnes Gill, and sister-in-law, Maxine Young.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason Loper, James Corley, Kevin Stovall, Jimmy Graves, Matthew Higginbotham and Travis Bowden. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Clayton Rucker, Braden Higginbotham, Jackson Loper and Landon Graves.

The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Harvest Manor Nursing Home and Lifesource Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Salem Baptist Church in care of Celeste Loper, 37149 Weiss Rd., Denham Springs, LA 70706.
