Albert Luther Drenner, Sr., 68, of Rt. 1, Sharpsburg, died at his home on Wednesday.

Born in Antietam Furnace, he was a son of Charles Francis and Clara Cline Drenner. He was a member of Antietam Church of God, and had been employed at Fairchild Industries, retiring several years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel M. Myers Drenner; daughters, Mrs. Essie Renner of Rt. 2 Williamsport, and Mrs. Gloria Bussard of Rt. 1, Sharpsburg; a son Albert L. Drenner, Jr. of Rt. 1, Sharpsburg; sisters, Mrs. Daisy Parker of Bakerton, W.Va., Mrs. Mary Hetzel, Mrs. Ruby Jamison and Mrs. Julia Butts, all of Rt. 1, Sharpsburg; and five grandchildren.

Services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Antietam Church of God. The Rev. Harold C. Beck will officiate; burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Leaf Funeral Home in Sharpsburg on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
