Norma Jean Chamlee (1928-2001) was born the youngest of five children to Samuel Chamlee & Edna Tunnell in Camden, Arkansas on April 23 1928.
On August 17 1946, at age eighteen Norma married Elton Hagley Ingram in her hometown of Camden, Arkansas.
In their fifty-three years of marriage, Norma & Elton had the following children:
1.) Elton Randolph Ingram (17 Feb 1949). Known as "Randy" to the family, he unexpectedly died at one month old on March 13 1949
2.) Robert Hagley Ingram (28 Jun 1953). He married Cheryl Forcht and had three children; Amy, Angela, & Christopher.
3.) Russell Chamlee Ingram (14 Jul 1954). He married Nina Sommers and had three children; Casey, Kelly, & Kayla.
4.) Jill Ingram (26 Dec 1964). She married Bryan Sellers and had three children; Brianna, Austin, & Dawson.
Altogether, Elton & Norma Ingram had a total of four children and nine grandchildren.
Elton died on July 2, 2000 due to complications of a stroke that left him unable to walk or talk. He was seventy-six years old.
Norma died on February 19, 2001 after a long battle with lung cancer. She was seventy-two years old.
