Mrs Ollie Thomas Vaught, 81 of Wytheville, widow of the late Reece E. Vaught, of Grant, Grayson Co., died in a Wytheville convalescent home Monday 23 Jan 1961. She was born in Grant 11 Oct 1879 to the late Troy M Thomas and wife. Mrs. Vaught's husband passed away 10 Mar 1957.
Surviving are one son, Edgar R. Vaught, Wytheville, four daughters Mrs. Carl T. Nash, Atlanta Ga, Mrs Kermit Haga,Flatridge; Mrs J. Russell Poff, Roanoke; and Mrs. Robert M schaefer, Rockville Md. Two sisters Mrs Pearl Young New London Pa and Mrs A. E. Adams, Pulaski. One brother O. M. Thomas Marion; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Grant Methodist Church by Rev. E. S. Mustard and a former minister Rev Buren Littreal. Interment was in the Grant Cemetery.
