FUNERAL SERVICES IN WILLAMINA FOR MRS. AMERINE

WILLAMINA, Aug. 1 - Funeral services for Ida Orvetta Amerine were held at the Methodist church Monday at 3 p.m., Rev. C.E. Calame officiating. Yvonne Hubbard sang "In The Garden" and "Constantly Abiding" accompanied by Helen Jahn on the piano at the services.

Ida Orvetta Hopkins, daughter of Cora Orvetta Graves and Herman Newton Hopkins, was born Dec. 28, 1917 in Tillamook and was united in marriage to Frances Marion Amerine at Sheridan in 1941. She died at a McMinnville hospital Friday at the age of 28.

Surviving are the mother, Mrs. A. Van Mechelen of Port Angeles, Wash.; the widower; a one-month old daughter, Elizabeth Ann; three sisters, Frieda Ellis of Corvallis, Dorothy Hadden of Sheridan and Lila Gift of Willamina; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Graves of Oregon City and Mrs. Louella Hopkins of Tillamook. Her father preceded her in death in March 1935.

Interment was at Evergreen cemetery at McMinnville, with Macy & Son handling arrangements. Pallbearers were Beryle McTimmonds, Donald Coburn, Edward Fox, Laurice Fox, Jack Shetterly and Donald Mitchell.
