Alley Rites Set Thursday

Funeral services for William A. Alley, 86, 301 E. Kay, Derby, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Derby Church of Christ. Gary Morrison, Minister, will officiate. Burial will be in the El Paso Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 13, 1891 in Eureka Springs, Ark., and moved to Derby in 1955 from Rose Hill. He married Katherine Berger, Dec. 23, 1923, in Douglass. He was a retired farmer and served as custodian at Pleasantview School for many years.

Survivors include his widow; sons, Bill of Rose Hill, Kan., Marion, Mark, both of Augusta, Kan., Gary of Derby, Don of Winfield, Kan.; daughters, Mrs. Wilma Austin of Derby, Mrs. Shirley Walters of Chula Vista, Calif., Mrs. Elaine Kohner of Winona, Minn., Mrs. Sondra Drake of McKinney, Texas; brother, John of Douglass, Kan.; sisters, Lyda Alley, Mrs. Ethel Paul, both of Wichita; 28 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Smith Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
