Sister Hermana Miller, 92, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, April 27, at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. She was born December 27, 1895 in Appleton, daughter of the late Pius and Theresa (Koenig) Miller. She professed her vows in 1915 and earned her BA Degree at St. Norbert College. She was a teacher at several parishes in Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin, including St. Joseph, Kellnersville and St. James, Cooperstown. Since 1984 she has resided at Holy Family Convent.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hilda Miller, Jackson, Wis., nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday by Rev. Robert B. Reppin, O.Praem at Holy Family Convent Chapel. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery.
