Mrs. Hannah Sophia Lythgoe, aged 70 years, died at six o'clock Sunday evening at the home in Henefer after an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Lythgoe was born in Norway, March 21, 1861, the daughter of Neils and Anna Borsen (sic) Petersen. She came to Utah 66 years ago and to Henefer 40 years ago. She is survived by her husband, James Lythgoe, and the following sons and daughters; Mrs. Edward J. Lythgoe, Ogden; Hyrum Johnson, Ogden; Ephraim Johnson, and Jos. Johnson, Henefer; Mrs. Wallace White, Ogden; Neils Lythgoe, and Mrs. Veletta Jewks (sic), Henefer; Otto Lythgoe and Mrs. Loren Spendlove, Morgan, and Mrs. George Robinson of Salt Lake; twenty-one grandchildren, one brother, Otto Peterson, Salt Lake, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds, Vernal, Utah. Mrs Lythgoe was an active member of the L.D.S church. Services were held Wednesday at twelve o'clock noon in the Henefer ward chapel with Bishop Parley Stephens presiding. Interment was made in the Henefer cemetery.
