Beatrice V. Shaneyfelt Dingman, 80, of 3732 New Haven Ave. died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital after and illness of seven weeks.

A native of Wells County, she lived in Fort Wayne for the past 60 years. She was a retired employee of the Fort Wayne State School and had worked at the Perfection Biscuit Co.

Surviving are four daughters, Dorothy A. Paxson, Betty J. Williams and Mildred L. Sitcler, all of Fort Wayne, and Ethel M. Barnett of Warsaw; two sons, the Rev. Robert W. Shaneyfelt of Pahoa, Hawaii, and the Rev. S. Wayne Shaneyfelt of Manila, Philippines; and a brother John Barto of Fort Wayne.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Chapel. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Monroeville Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the Wayne and Carolyn Allen Missionary Fund or the S. Wayne Shaneyfelt Missionary Fund.
