Mrs. Floyd (Florence) Lancster, 58, of Lingle died Tuesday morning at St. Mary Hospital in Scottsbluff following an illness of several months. Graveside service will be held at the Lusk cemetery at 3:30 Friday afternoon preceded by a service at Torrington.

The 1:00 p.m. funeral will be held at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Torrington with the Rev. Fred Lucas officiating. Songs that will be sung are "The Lord's Prayer," "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "Peace in the Valley."

Pallbearers are to be nephews of Mrs. Lancster, Harold Miller, Gary Miller, Artie Johnson, Rex Johnson, Larry Johnson and Ronnie Johnson.

Honorary bearers are to be Ray Pearce, Alex Gunn, Melvin Miller, Joe Vaughan, Chuck Vaughan, Chuck Martin, Joe O'Brien, Pete Owens, Buster Penfield, Dave Allen, Ken McCoy, Red Ernest, Kenny Mall and Leonard Gladson.

Florence Olie Johnson was born Jan. 17, 1919 at Newport, Neb., the second child of six born to Reuben A. and Mabel Rose Carlisle Johnson. She moved with her parents to Lance Creek when they homesteaded there in 1919. She received her elementary education at Lance Creek and graduated from Manville High School in 1938.

She and Floyd Robert Lancster were married Sept. 27, 1941, in Gering, Neb., and afterwards they made their home in Guernsey where he was employed in the Sunrise mines. Later the family moved to Lance Creek where he was a welder for the oil companies. The family moved to Torrington in 1955, and eight years ago moved to their present home in Lingle.

Mrs. Lancster was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the First Free Will Baptist Church in Torrington.

She is survived by the widower; five children, Mrs. Lonald (Twila) Kroeger of Medicine Bow; Glen Lancster of Scottsbluff, Mrs. Dennis (Leola) King of Torrington and Delmer and Donna of the family home; eight grandchildren, Lonna, Shawna, Charla and Judie Kroeger, Ricky and Kelli King and Kandie and Tonya Lancster; three brothers, Wayne Johnson of Guernsey, Robert Johnson of Sheridan and Donald E. Johnson of Lance Creek and a sister, Mr. Lloyd (Maxine) Miller of Mannville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister who died in infancy and three grandchildren.
