It is very possible that the father of John Jacob is also buried in German Cemetery... There is a Peter Baugh, age 79, in the household of Jacob Baugh in the 1860 census... (In both the 1850 and 1860 Sugar Creek Twp census the Bach family show up as "Baugh")... German Cemetery is about a mile west of what used to be the Bach family farm... Almost the entire rear row of the cemetery is of the Bach family... In that row there are two headstones that are illegible and were also unreadable in the 1980's when the Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions book was compiled... One of the unreadable stones is directly beside Daniel Bach... Daniel was perhaps the first Bach to be buried in the cemetery...
