EDWARD F. HOOVER
Death claimed Mr. Hoover, 58, Friday afternoon at the home in South Charleston after a long illness. He had been a salesman for Schloss Brothers clothing company of Baltimore.
Mr. Hoover was a native of Augusta County, Virginia, and married the former Miss Ethel Clark of Welch in 1916. He had been a resident of this vicinity since 1917.
He is survived by a son, Edward F. Jr., a cadet at West Point, and a daughter, Caroline.
Rev. Harry Longley, rector of St. John's Episcopal church, will conduct final rites at the Barlow mortuary chapel at 5 p.m. Sunday, with burial in Sunset cemetery.
