Marjorie Y. Graham, age 99 of Corning, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at Absolut Care of Three Rivers. She was born on September 12th, 1921 in Mansfield, PA the daughter of the late Frank Youmans and Lena (Miller) Youmans. Marjorie was a graduate of Charleston High School in Wellsboro PA. Marjorie married Harry "Tim" Graham, on August second 1947. They enjoyed nearly 28 years of marriage until Tim's untimely death in 1975.
She was employed by the Corning-Painted Post School District, for almost 26 years before her retirement.
In her free time, Marjorie enjoyed traveling the U.S. She especially enjoyed a memorable trip to Hawaii and many visits to Florida. Marjorie enjoyed socializing and meeting with her many friends and her family. Marjorie will be remembered for her giving nature, as she was an avid volunteer with the Corning Meals of Wheel after her retirement. Above anything, her family will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother and wife.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter: Janet (Walter) Beach; her grandchildren: Jacqueline (Toby) Baker, Timothy (Echo) Beach and Diana (Damon) Lewis; her great-grandchildren: Johnathan, Joshua, Hannah, Michael, Lena, Jeff; and her son-in-law: John (Linda) Osborne.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband: Harry "Tim" Graham; her daughter: Joan Osborne; her grandson: Jeffery McChesney; her brother: Lawrence Youmans; and her son-in-law: Michael Lewis.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Morris, Pennsylvania. Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with the arrangements.
