In 1889, was a founding member of Maryland Woman Suffrage Association.

In 1907, was a delegate to the National WCTU Convention in Nashville, Tennessee (WCTU = Woman's Christian Temperance Union) and attended the national conference in Denver, Colorado in 1908.

Around 1918-1920 (perhaps longer), was editor of 'White Ribbon Herald', the WCTU paper of Maryland.

Died while visiting a niece.
