Thomas A. Huggins Jr., age 72, of Crestview, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on Friday evening, Oct. 12, 2012. He was born Sept. 9, 1940, in Port St. Joe, Fla. Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated Huggins Shoe Repair in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and was a member of Faith Independent Baptist Church in Niceville, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; sons, Thomas A. Huggins III and Richard Overton; daughters, Tara Overstreet and Christy Overton; two brothers, Gerald and Rod; seven grandchildren; and many other loving family members.
