He was a mechanic for the Scheller and Kitchen garage, Stroudsburg; he operated the Gulf Service Station, Minisink Hills; and until his retirement he worked for the Ott Thomas garage, Stroudsburg.
He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Stroudsburg.
He was a member of Barger Lodge F & Am #325, Stroudsburg.
He is survived by a sister, Alice Frailey of Stroudsburg and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Kirk.
