Ralph Eugene Bagwell Sr., 78, died Monday, October 26, 1998, in White Oak Manor of Spartanburg.
Son of the late Boyce Wilkins and Hattie Frances Bagwell; husband of Margaret Ruth Crocker Bagwell.
A retired mechanic from Burwell Chevrolet, a member of Glendale Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his wife; two daughters, Nancy Mason of Myrtle Beach and Sandy Collier of Cowpens; two sons, Ralph E. Bagwell Jr. of Spartanburg and Mike Bagwell of Duncan; a brother, Paul Bagwell of Sharon; three sisters, Norma Mowles of Sharon, Katherine Knox of Spartanburg and Mildred Mullinax of Simpsonville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 1998 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Steve Mullinax.
