The 37-year-old Rapides Parish legislator entered the St. Francis Cabrini Hospital for treatment of a heart condition last Wednesday. He was released Friday, but returned when his condition became worse yesterday.
He died at 3:50 a.m. today.
He was a graduate from Louisiana State University Law School in 1938 and practiced law in Alexandria since then, except for a period when he was in the service during World War II.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Katherine Bringhurst Eubank; two children, Robert Benjamin, 10 and Elizabeth Tracy, 9 and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin F. Eubank.
Funeral services will be held here at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow and burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at nearby Pineville.
Pallbearers will be Lra. L. McGehee, Bert Thornton, Harold Sween, James Harris, Leroy Staples, Warren Lemoine, Dr. Lee Jarrell, all of Alexandria, and Leonard Richey of Jena.
