Carl Lewis Arnett, 56, of Greensburg, Ky., died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Federal Hill Manor Nursing Home in Bardstown, Ky.

Son of the late Lewis L. Arnett and Mary G. Nelson Arnett, he was born on Feb. 2, 1947 in Green County, Ky., and was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. Arnett was the former owner and operator of Arnett's Dozer Service and Tractor Sales in Greensburg. He was married to Connie N. Antle Crowe in 1964, who survives. Other survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Steven Wayne and Monica Arnett of Greensburg; one daughter, Stephanie Arnett of Campbellsville; two grandchildren, Miranda Michelle Arnett and Steven Chase Arnett, both of Greensburg; six brothers, Frank I. Arnett of Campbellsville, Joseph Woodson Arnett and P. Raymond Arnett, both of Greensburg, Edgar T. Arnett of Summersville, Clayton Arnett of Hudgins, and Noah Arnett of Hardyville; five sisters, Virginia M. Arnett Akins, M. Ruth Arnett Simpson and Nettie Ada Arnett Creason,!
all of Greensburg, C. Kathryn Arnett Simpson of Central City, and Ruby A. Arnett Milby of Summersville.
Funeral was at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Wisdom officiated. Pallbearers were Frankie Arnett, Danny Bryant, Jerry Arnett, Scott Estes, J.D. Arnett and Garnett Bradshaw. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Donan, David Dobson and Calvin "Toad" Durrett.
