VERONA/MT VERNON - Helen M. Kollath, age 89, of Verona/Mt Vernon, died on Wednesday, September 20, 2000, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center in Fitchburg. She was born on April 22, 1911, in Monroe, the daughter of Arnold and Alice (Theiler) Dettwiler. She married Rodney Kollath on December 2, 1931, in Verona.
She retired from the state of Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Department in 1976. She was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ in Mount Vernon and the Verona Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rodney; son-in-law, John W. Beutler; three brothers, Lester, Alvin and Herman Dettwiler; and a sister, Ada Maltha.
Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery.
