Mrs. Hayes, 57---- Succumbs After Lengthy Illness --------- Mrs. Charles Hayes, 57, died this morning at her home, 618 Demorest avenue, after an extended illness. The body was removed to the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home, where services are planned at 2 p. m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral home after Sunday noon. The daughter of Sam and Tillie Wilson Bloomhuff, she was born Feb. 10, 1898, in Brown county, Ohio. She was married to Charles Hayes on Nov. 6, 1915, at Maysville, Ky. Mrs. Hayes was a member of the Christian church at Dover, Ky. Surviving are her husband; two brothers, Sam and Allen Bloomhuff, both of Muscatine; and four sisters, Mrs. Kate Hensell and Mrs. Myrtle Wilson of Ripley, Ohio, Mrs. Louise Miller of Davenport, and Mrs. Marie Jordan of Rochester, Minn. Preceding her in death were one brother and one sister.
