Calvin Witherspoon was born March 11, 1828 and died June 21, 1848. He was buried in the Kings Creek Cemetery near Frankfort Springs beside John and Margaret (Kennedy) Witherspoon, his parents. Calvin was kicked in the head by a horse and died of the injury.
