Guy Leroy Jones was a 4 yr old son of Wallie Fleming Jones,Sr. and Irene Isabell McAlister Jones. Grandson of Needham Daniel McAlister and Alice Corinne Jump McAlister. As well as a grandson of Oscar Lee Jones and Susie Ann Tolbert Jones. Guy was one of 12 children. Guy lived in Camp Wheeler with his parents til be suddenly came down with diptheria in Macon, Ga. and plead to go to the home of his grandpa O. Lm Jones of Eastman, Ga. They left on the Joe Brown. He later died 7 days after the illness. Guy's death cert in Dodge county, Ga cert # 22808-B reads buried at Wood Lan cemetery. Guy's obit can be found in Tad Evans Dodge county newspaper clippings 1920 - 1928 on pgs 1692 & 1693. I have 1 photo of him in front of the family home. Guy was my uncle. Looking for more photos of him and the family. As well as tombstone if one exsists. [email protected]
