Joseph P Shea, 63, of Central Islip, Long Island, NY, formerly of this city. Died Saturday at Central Islip. He was born in this city December 31, 1899, son of the late Patrick F and Ellen (Leary) Shea and was a resident of the city for most of his life. For many years he was employed by the Springfield Street Railway Co. He leaves four nephews, William H Burns of Holyoke, Thomas F Burns of this city, John M Burns a member of the Springfield Fire Department and Robert M Burns of West Springfield and two nieces, Mrs. Wesley S Potter of this city and Mrs. John J Bosini of Feeding Hills. The funeral will be held at the State Street parlors of the T P Sampson Co. Wednesday morning at 8 with a requiem high mass in St Michael’s Cathedral at 9. Burial will be in St Michael’s Cemetery. Visiting hours today are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM
