SPRINGVILLE — Debra Kay McDonald, 58, of Springville, passed away at her residence Friday night, October 5, 2012.

She was born September 1, 1954, in Bloomington to Edward and Trucilla Rayle Frye.

Debra was a 1972 graduate of Bloomington High School South and spent more than 34 years with the Indiana University Physical Plant in building maintenance as an executive assistant. Debra will be fondly remembered as a loving and caring wife to Lance, mother to Kristi, and grandmother to Jackson and Benjamin.

Debra leaves behind her husband, Lance McDonald of Springville; daughter, Kristi Graves and her husband Jared of Springville; mother, Trucilla Frye of Bloomington; sister, Di Bruner of Bloomington; grandsons, Jackson Brewer and Benjamin Graves; nephews, Stephen Ritter and William Fulcher; and nieces, Kimberly Shields and Keri Garrison. She was preceded in death by her dad, Edward Frye; and a son, Robert W. Shaw Jr.

Funeral services for Debra will be Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old Highway 37. Reverend Michael Douglas will preside. Burial will be in the Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will also be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Allen Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
