Born October 2, 1899 in Gunnison, Utah to John and Hulda Anderson. Married Janett EllisJuly 21, 1920 in Salt Lake City. He was a mechanic and government trapper, a supervisor at Wendover Power plant during World War II and worked at Western Pacific Railroad as a signal maintainer and diesel mechanic. Retired in 1968. Loved hunting, fishing, gardening and anything outdoors. He was the first man to climb Ensign Peak on an Indian motorcycle. He lived in Wendover from 1930 to 1982. He lived in Elko from 1982 until present.
He is survived by a son, Delmar E. Nyrehn of Elko and a daughter, Kathleen Nyrehn of Reno; six grandchildren, 11 great granchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Jannett and two sons, Nelden Leo Nyrehn and Dan Sinclair Nyrehn.
Internment will be in the Bountiful City cemetery.
