Funeral services for Miss Annie Louise Givens, 76, Bloomington, who died Friday morning in a local hospital following a lingering illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Barbara McKnight, pastor of Bloomington United Methodist Church, will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James M. and J. E. Whitten, Roger W., Kirby M. and Benjamin T. Simmons and Robert J. Walker.
A resident of Bloomington for 65 years, Miss Givens was a retired school teacher. She received one of the first certificates issued by the Bloomington schools and she was also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Miss Givens was born April 14, 1899, in Simsboro, La., to the late Robert Goff and Mary Madden Givens and was a member of Bloomington United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Whitten of Odem and Mrs. Benjamin Simmons of Houston.
