Married Alice Miller on Dec. 7, 1940. She was the daughter of William A. and Annie Broughman Miller.

They had a son, William Lafayette "Sonny" Craft, Jr. who married Patsy Burgess.

Served in the U. S. Army during World War II from Nov. 16, 1942 - Oct. 21, 1945.

Attended Glen Wilton United Methodist Church.

William Craft passed away at age 73 years.
