March 12th, about half-past six in the evening, the spirit of William R. Faris, aged 27 years took its upward flight and returned to the God who gave it.
Sad indeed does it seem to the wife, children, mother, sisters and friends that his footsteps and his kind and loving words will no be heard; his form no more seen in this life.
He was highly esteemed as a citizen, honest and upright in all his dealings and patient and hopeful through all his sufferings.
The bereft ones have the sympathy of the entire community.
Rev. Ruble conducted the funeral services after which the remains were consigned to the tomb in the Barker Cemetery.
